The 7028 IBM eServer p630 Model 7028-6C4 is a 4-EIA Rack Mount Server.Configurations of 1-way, 2-way or 4-way are supported. 3-way configurations are not allowed.
Only a single 1-way card may be installed. A 2-way config can only be acheived using a single 2-way processor card.

If more than one processor is installed, both must be of the same FCEach processor card contains:
8x DIMM Memory Slots 32KB Data Cache；64KB Instruction Cache；1.44MB L2 CacheMemory DIMMs(204-pin 8ns ECC DDR SDRAM)are mounted on the CPU card and are installed in Quads (sets of four identical DIMMs). A memory feature for the 7028-6C4/6E4 consists of four memory DIMMs.
This means that a maximum of two memory features may be installed per processor card.Memory is available in increments of 1.GB(4451), 2GB(4452), 4GB(4453)，8GB(4454)A 1-way or 2-way configuration will support a maximum of 16GB of system memory.
A 4-way configuration will support up to 32GB of system memory.
A minimum of 1GB of system memory is required for any CPU configuration, with 2GB as the recommended minimum for a 4-way configuration.
The Model 7028-6C4 contains six bays configured as four front-accessible, hot-swap capable bays that can accommodate up to 587.2GB of disk storage. The remaining two bays are used for a CD-ROM or DVDRAM, and an optional media device.An optional SCSI PCI adapter is needed to install an internal SCSI media device.Early systems included an I/O Riser containing 4x Hot-Swap 64 bit 133MHz, 3.3 V PCI-X slots.Later models offer FC 6556 PCI Riser with Integrated SCSI and 6x Hot-Swap 64 bit 133MHz, 3.3 V PCI-X slots.
This option is mandatory for POWER4+ Processors. Refer to the individual processor features for additional requirements. Refer to FC 6556 for additional requirements of this feature.
